This Privacy Policy explains how Topcoat ("Topcoat", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Topcoat voice-to-quote service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Painter account information — your name, email address, and the business and pricing settings you configure.
Quote inputs — the job details you provide by voice or text (such as rooms, dimensions, surfaces, and paint selections) that the Service uses to calculate a quote.
Homeowner contact information — when a homeowner consents to receive a quote by text message, we collect the mobile phone number they provide and the fact and time of their consent.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Generate, format, and deliver painting quotes;
Send the quote to a homeowner by SMS text message when they have consented;
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; and
Communicate with you about your account and the Service.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Topcoat sends transactional text messages (such as a painting quote and related follow-ups) only to recipients who have opted in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

4. Information Sharing

Mobile opt-in data and consent information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, our SMS delivery provider and our hosting and database providers), and only to the extent needed to perform those services on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Data Retention & Raw Media Handling

We keep account and quote information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and as required to meet our legal obligations.

Raw audio recordings and any uploaded images are processed in memory and deleted immediately after the relevant details are extracted. They are never written to long-term storage in their raw form.

6. How to Access, Correct, or Delete Your Information

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. Homeowners may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
